The stock drive rod set up on a Solidoodle can suffer from deflection, resulting in backlash and excess resistance. The degree of deflection in the rear drive rod can be greatly minimized with a pillow block bearing. Many users run into difficulties printing the pillow block because their machine cannot produce perfect circles without one. This results in significant difficulty fitting the bearing into the part. We've taken care of that for you! This listing includes both the bearing and the plastic housing to mount it to the back of your printer's frame.
